Most nutrition apps were built for the West. They speak in calories, macros and points — but they don't know what poha is, can't score a thali, and ignore the cultural reality of how Indian families eat.
We started Smart Diet Planner in 2018 to solve this. Over the next seven years, we built India's largest dietitian-verified food database, served 30,000+ users across weight loss, diabetes and PCOS, and worked with 15+ healthcare partners to refine condition-specific protocols.
